Description
2020 Heathcote Shiraz Number 3 (New Oak) 375mLWe took the same batch of fruit and subjected it to four different winemaking treatments. This is the same wine as #1, except it was matured in a brand new French oak barrique. Compared to #1, the oak is obviously the feature the nose is dominated by it initially, but give it some time in the glass to blow off integrate and it actually plays a fantastic supporting role, also bringing more drying tannins. Note this is a 375mL bottle.
