Feels like sitting around a fire

I didn’t think I’d ever get through these stories, but this translation made it feel like someone was telling them to me, not lecturing. Easy to follow, still powerful

This translation made it so much easier to follow the stories without losing the poetry that makes Homer special. I found myself looking forward to picking it up each day, and the flow kept me engaged instead of exhausted. If you’ve wanted to read The Iliad and The Odyssey without getting overwhelmed, this is a great way to finally experience them.
